Chamber music. Up close. As it should be.
Newcastle Chamber Music Society has been bringing chamber concerts to Tyneside since 1880, welcoming performers heard on the stages of London, Berlin and New York.
This series of six concerts features one piano trio and five strikingly different string quartets. Expect favourites by Haydn, Beethoven, Dvořák and Schubert, alongside the chance to discover works by Rebecca Clarke, Bohuslav Martinů and Edvard Grieg.
