Make Music

Music is for everyone. Make it at The Glasshouse.

Sing, play, create. Whether you’re starting from scratch or polishing some skills there’s a class, choir, group or studio with your name on it. Find the right path for you.

Make Music: Adults

Fun, informal classes and groups suitable for players of all abilities – including those who like a bit of a challenge. Daytime and evening classes to enjoy at The Glasshouse or online at home. New players always welcome!

Are you ready to feel the music?

We asked young people at The Glasshouse how powerful music is in their lives. The result? A celebration of all the incredible ways music shapes us – from building confidence and making new friends to simply finding joy.

‘For 1 hour 30 minutes, our only concern is to join together to make the music come alive; to listen, watch and harmonise… sometimes frustrated, sometimes laughing, until it all comes together and we can really enjoy it’

Mary, Sounds Good To Me singer

Make Music: Young People

You’re never too young to start loving music! Family classes start with babies from birth, and Make Music Young People helps any child from age 4 find their voice and build their confidence. For ages 10 and up there are classes, songwriting and production sessions and ensembles to join that can lead to being part of incredible performances.

‘It’s the best investment I could make in my children’s futures, because the programme is such high quality, and they absolutely love it.’

Matti, parent of three young people in Make Music classes.
