Whether you’re writing your first song, learning how to produce music or building on years of experience, our Glasshouse Studios courses are designed to help you grow creatively and technically.
Learn in small, supportive groups led by professional musicians, songwriters and producers who are actively working in the industry. Sessions are practical and hands-on, giving you time to experiment, ask questions and develop your own ideas.
Learning doesn’t stop when the class ends. Alongside our courses, The Songwriting Social offers a relaxed space to write, share ideas, collaborate with other creatives and keep your music moving forward between sessions.

Music Production
Learn the tools, techniques and confidence to bring your music to life.
Introduction to Music Technology & Production - Level 1
Start your music production journey in this 5-week beginner course. Learn DAWs, recording, mixing, and mastering across genres with expert guidance. No experience needed – just curiosity and creativity!
Price: £60 for 5 week course

Day & Time: Thursdays, 6pm – 7.30pm
Music Technology & Production (Intermediate) – Level 2
Build on your basics in this 5-week course. Explore advanced DAW techniques, effects, automation, and outboard gear to refine your mixes. Ideal for Level 1 graduates or those with prior experience.
Price: £60 for 5 week course

Day & Time: Thursdays, 8pm – 9.30pm
Songwriting
Develop your ideas, find your voice and turn inspiration into original songs.
Introduction to Songwriting (Level 1)
Start your songwriting journey with this five-week beginner course. Explore lyrics, melody, structure and creative techniques, develop your confidence and turn ideas into original songs.
Price:£100 for a 5 week course (3hours a week)

Intermediate Songwriting (Level 2)
Take your songwriting further with this five-week course for experienced writers. Develop your creative voice, refine your ideas, strengthen your songs and explore new approaches to writing.
Price: £100 for a 5 week course (3hours a week)

Day & Time: Wednesdays, 6pm – 9pm
Introduction to Songwriting Music Theory - (Level 1)
Aimed at musicians, songwriters, producers and anyone curious about how songs are built, this course will introduce you to the musical foundations behind songwriting.
Price: £100 for a 5 week course (3hours a week)

Intermediate Songwriting Music Theory - (Level 2)
New for September 2026. Intermediate, ideal for those with some theory knowledge, and who are looking develop further. A great next step for those who have been to attended our Introduction to Music Theory course.
Price: £100 for a 5 week course (3hours a week)

The Songwriting Social
A relaxed space to write, collaborate and connect with a community of fellow songwriters.
The Songwriting Social
A relaxed, welcoming space for songwriters of all levels to write, collaborate and connect. Bring songs in progress, explore new ideas, get inspired by creative prompts and optional feedback, or simply enjoy dedicated time to create alongside other songwriters.
Price: £10 per session
