Royal Northern Sinfonia’s new Principal Guest Conductor Nil Venditti leads our joyful New Year’s Day celebration, with sparkling soprano Jennifer France and home orchestra Royal Northern Sinfonia.

Gateshead’s very own version of the famous Viennese New Year’s Day Concert returns! It’s a concert that’s absolutely packed with heart-on-sleeve melodies, ravishing waltzes, polkas to sweep you off your feet and much more. Unashamed musical joy from start to finish – oh, and audience participation is definitely encouraged.
