Sassy. Vivacious. Old-school glamour made modern.
The Puppini Sisters burst onto the scene in 2006 with Betcha Bottom Dollar, produced by Oscar-nominated composer Benoît Charest. Hitting No. 1 on the UK Jazz Charts, it became the fastest-selling jazz album ever and went gold. Pioneers of the neo-burlesque/swing revival, they quickly became icons of the underground performance art scene.
They’ve since performed on world-renowned stages including The O2 with Michael Bublé, l’Olympia in Paris, L.A.’s Roxy and Greek with Cyndi Lauper, New York’s B.B. King’s, Montreal Jazz Festival, and Glastonbury. Their follow-up albums and performances blended original material, glamorous styling (with help from Vivienne Westwood, group member Marcella’s former boss, on some music videos), festive classics, and playful reinventions of pop hits.
They’ve duetted with Michael Bublé, Seal, and Gary Barlow, and other albums include the crowdfunded The Highlife (2016) and Dance Dance Dance (2020). With appearances on shows from The Graham Norton Show to NBC’s Michael Bublé Christmas Special, The Puppini Sisters remain poster women of swing with a modern twist.
