What's happening in the music?
Angeline takes the essence of traditional English folk songs and expertly weaves it with rich melodies and words into a goosebump-inducing musical tapestry. She creates haunting musical tales of people from the African diaspora in Britain through the centuries, including an enslaved child whose body was washed up on the Isles of Scilly and Black John, the first known Black horticulturalist in Britain.
