Discover a world of musical joy with Make Music: SEND at The Glasshouse
We focus on ability first, creating meaningful and inspiring musical experiences with plenty of fun along the way. We’ve got a brilliant mix of sessions, plus unique packages we can bring to you.
From lively sing-together sessions that spark connection through song, to musical games that inspire play, cooperation and adventure; there’s loads to try. Join our songwriting workshops, where we work together creatively, drawing on everyone’s ideas and passions to create music that’s truly one of a kind. Explore rhythm with inclusive ensembles, strum along in ukulele sessions, or discover the magic of music production and therapeutic sound experiences. There’s no end to where creativity can take us – and no ‘right way’ to get there.
Let’s make music something everyone can connect with. Our adaptable ‘build your own’ packages mean you can shape something that feels just right for your group.

Build your own Make Music: SEND packages
Make Music: SEND packages offer bespoke, adaptable music-making packages for groups with special educational needs and disabilities, featuring everything from sing-together sessions and musical games to songwriting workshops and music production, all designed for any age or ability level.

Music Spark
Music Spark is here to help you get stuck into music your way. Try out instruments and technology, play games, write your own songs, and belt them out if you fancy. And with a friendly likeminded bunch in the room, chances are you’ll make some new mates too.
Whether you’re into writing your own songs or jamming with others, there’s a group to match your vibe.

Sounds Good To Me
Sounds Good To Me is a weekly singing group for adults with learning disabilities who simply love to sing. It’s a fun, friendly space to enjoy music together, with no pressure – just great songs and good vibes. Carers and support workers are always welcome, and there are chances to perform or record too.
Training and Resources
You don’t have to be a musician to make music with young people. Our training sessions are made for staff working with children and young people who’ve got special educational needs – especially those who might find standard music lessons a struggle.

These sessions are practical, friendly and full of ideas you can use straight away. No scary theory. No fancy kit needed. Just simple ways to use music as a tool for connection, confidence and creativity.
We offer training on:
– Making original music with groups – how to spark new sounds from scratch using voice, instruments and imagination
– Social music-making – playful activities that build trust, teamwork and communication
– Group ensemble skills – how to guide a class or group to make music together, at their own pace
You can book us for:
– A quick session (1 hour), or
– A more in-depth half day.
We’ll come to you – or bring you to The Glasshouse if you’d rather get out for a bit.
