What's happening in the music?
Our beautifully intimate Sage Two is transformed in this concert into a series of living natural environments in a concert which showcases how composers have responded to issues around the environment. The evening includes Anna Lockwood’s evocative Dusk, which incorporates real-world sounds from sources including hydrothermal vents and bat calls, and the warm, rich sonorities of John Luther Adams’s The Light Within.
