Afternoon Tea and Purple Rain
Forget the brolly. This is a musical downpour you want to be caught in.
It’s a no skips listening party hosted by a certified liner note lover.
Take the stage in Sage One, a view most only see from the stalls, as one of the most beloved albums of the 80s doesn’t just play, but pours through the hall.
Soaring guitars. Cinematic swells. From first riff to final roar.
We’ll pour the tea (properly). We’ll bring out the good stuff, tiered stands of finger sandwiches. Warm jammy scones. Elegant patisserie. Bright lemon drizzle with enough zing to hold its own against the purple-tinted drama of Prince & The Revolution.
Even add a glass of fizz because every storm needs a little sparkle.
No umbrella required.

A storm of emotion, glamour and electricity. Purple Rain marked a defining moment in Prince’s artistry. Blending rock, pop, funk and raw theatricality. An anthem‑filled masterpiece that still feels larger than life decades later.
