More about the artist

Suzi-Quatro

Legendary rocker Suzi Quatro pioneered women in rock. The Detroit native got her start playing bongos in her father’s jazz band at 14, later forming the all-girl rock group The Pleasure Seekers. After catching the attention of producer Mickie Most, Quatro moved to England in 1971 and achieved tremendous UK chart success through the 70s with smash hits like “Can the Can,” “Devil Gate Drive,” and “Stumblin’ In.”

She has also acted in various shows including “Absolutely Fabulous,” and “Midsomer Murders“; making her West End debut in 1986, when she received critical acclaim for her role in “Annie Get Your Gun,” .

She’s sold over 55 million records, published her memoir ‘Unzipped’, and hosted radio programs for BBC Radio 2, interviewing many music heroes. Approaching 50 years in the business, Quatro continues releasing new music and touring extensively, showing no signs of slowing down. She remains an influential, unstoppable force carrying the torch of female rockers.
