About Giacomo Smith

Born in Italy and raised in upstate New York, Giacomo Smith began his musical journey with piano lessons at the age of five, later picking up the clarinet at ten and the saxophone at twelve. He pursued classical clarinet performance, earning degrees from Boston University and McGill University. After moving to London, Smith immersed himself in the local jazz scene, eventually founding the Kansas Smitty’s House Band and opening the Kansas Smitty’s jazz bar, which became a hub for jazz enthusiasts.
