Anthemic. Awesome. A guitar behemoth.

For six decades, Robin Trower’s career has been a quiet rebellion. Dive into the British guitarist’s backstory and you’ll find an artist who’s always rolled the dice over taking the path of least resistance.

In the early-’70s, Trower showed fearlessness, leaving the security of Procol Harum to create a gold-selling solo album: Bridge Of Sighs which filled North American stadiums.

Since then, he’s flowed from his own projects to collaborations with everyone from Jack Bruce to the United State Of Mind supergroup alongside Maxi Priest and Livingstone Brown.

A literal lifetime since he first stepped onto the blues circuit, that fabled Trower power shows no sign of burning out. Trower’s latest album, JOYFUL SKY shows his artistic instinct. On it he collaborates with New Yorker Sari Schorr, an acclaimed singer who elevates his emotive guitar.

2024 will see him returning to the stage and the release of a special 50th Anniversary package of Bridge Of Sighs on Chrysalis Records.

Jess Hayes emerged onto the South London scene as a teenager having been raised on classic rock and soul by her musician parents and quickly gained a reputation amongst the blues and soul cognesenti. She has also recently enjoyed a 4 chairs turn on ITV’s ‘the Voice’, but more importantly, Jess is finding her own ‘voice’ with this new project, alongside her friend Frankie Connolly, who himself has gained a stellar reputation as both a great singer and astonishing guitar player.
