Ustad Shahid Parvez

Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan is one of the finest sitar virtuosos of our time. He represents the rich legacy of the Etawah (Imdadkhani) gharana, one of India’s most distinguished musical lineages. He’s a direct descendant of this tradition, known for combining technical brilliance with emotional depth.

Ustad Shahid Parvez has performed at respected venues and festivals across the globe. Over the years he has received many national and international honours. This maestro captivates audiences with his lyrical phrasing, intricate rhythm, and flawless command of raga. He inspires a new generation of musicians as an admired performer and a dedicated teacher. He upholds and advances the timeless heritage of Hindustani classical music.

Shashank Subramanyam

Shashank Subramanyam is globally famed for outstanding artistry on the bamboo flute. And one of India’s best Carnatic classical musicians. He started as child prodigy who began performing aged six. Subramanyam has since built an illustrious international career. He shows technical brilliance, soulful expression, and innovative exploration of melody and rhythm.

Shashank’s renowned for expanding the tonal and expressive range of the Indian flute. Through introducing new fingering and blowing techniques he’s redefined its possibilities. A Grammy-nominated, multi-award winning artist, he bridges cultures through music. An embodiment the evolving spirit of India’s classical tradition.
