Our concourse, of course
This event is largely taking place on the Concourse, the hub of our wonderful building. The Concourse is our main foyer space as you walk into The Glasshouse (on the ground floor), and a stage will be set up with plenty of room to dance. And what’s better than a show with a view? Take in The Glasshouse’s incredible view of the Quayside, looking over the River Tyne and just a stone’s throw away from both the Tyne Bridge and Millennium Bridge. There’ll be plenty of seating too, alongside our bars, when you need a break from dancing.
Our modern soul room will be on Level 1 in Northern Rock Foundation Hall; a fantastic wood-paneled space above the concourse. It’s a limited capacity room but we’ll have staff on the doors helping everyone enjoy a change of scenery and soundtrack when they need it.
In 2018 we hosted Orbital on our Concourse - what a night that was!
