Who’s on stage
Two superb singers James Newby (baritone) and Sarah Tynan (soprano) and award-winning pianist Adam Johnson.
What they’re playing
James, Sarah and Adam begin with songs in English by composers of the 20th century before moving to Lieder, (German song), beginning with one of the most popular song cycles for male voice by Schumann ‘A Poet’s Love’. They end with a selection of songs based on German folk poetry, ‘The Boy’s Magic Horn’.
