The Spirit & Sound of Steely Dan
Nearly Dan in Concert
Breezy. Note-for-note. You’ll wanna ‘Do it Again.’
Less tribute and more homage, Nearly Dan is saviour to the growing legions of Dan fans, desperate to hear the meticulously crafted grooves and allusive lyrical style of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. Nearly Dan are faithful, but not reverential and relaxed but as tight as their namesakes bringing their own unique spirit and spontaneous humour.
It’s been over 40 years since Steely Dan released their debut Can’t buy a Thrill, featuring ‘Do it Again’ and ‘Reelin’ in the years.’
Nearly Dan, now in its 27th year, enter 2024 with an exciting new line up with a setlist of deep cuts and all the Steely Dan classics. Their show, clocking in at over two hours, features tunes from Countdown to Ecstasy, The Royal Scam, Aja and Gaucho. Plus numbers from Donald Fagen’s solo masterpiece The Nightfly.
It’s an unmissable treat for all music lovers and aspiring musicians young or old.
