Rhythm. Collaboration. A Celebration in Sound.

Young singers and instrumentalists from The Glasshouse Make Music Programme and Newcastle Youth Choir Project will be joining together to perform as part of MOBO fringe events at The Glasshouse.

The Glasshouse’s youth jazz ensembles Jambone and Jazz Attack are anything but conventional, aiming to provide a range of fresh music challenges for its members. Lead by trombonist and musical director Jason Holcomb they’ll be joined by singers from the Newcastle Youth Choir Project and The Glasshouse’s Step Up Singing and Quay Voices choirs. Each group will perform a slot independently (timings below) before coming together to perform Ezra Collective’s God Gave Me Feet For Dancing – this year’s MOBO song.

In partnership with: Music Partnership NorthNorth Tyneside Music Education HubNewcastle Sings and Newcastle University.
