About the artist

Max Cooper is an electronic composer, artist, and founder of the label Mesh. With a PhD in computational biology, he bridges the gap between science and art through music, visual installations, and immersive experiences. Cooper has played many iconic venues. He’s not only the first contemporary electronic musician to perform at the ancient Acropolis theatre in Athens, but also one of the first musicians to produce in Dolby Atmos.

Known for pushing the boundaries of club culture, he held a decade-long residency at Firefly and continues to collaborate with Architecture Social Club on large-scale installations. Cooper’s work explores the emotional and conceptual intersections of sound, space, and science.

Plus Mac Seldom

Mac Seldom is a composer and electronic music producer from the North East of England. After close to a decade spent in Berlin scoring, documentaries, and feature films and working between London, LA, and New York, the Mac Seldom project now sees the sound designer turn his craftsmanship toward his love of dance music. The result is a sound rich in depth, emotion, and sonic architecture rarely heard in club contexts, drawing early admiration from Ben UFO, Caribou, Skream, and Scuba. Mac’s momentum continues into 2026 with releases including a five-track vinyl EP on Hotflush Recordings, expanding his sound into more club-focused Territory.

Mac is set for two landmark debut shows, opening for Max Cooper in May and HAAi in August, marking an exciting new chapter in his live career.

3D AV live

In 2025, Max turned The Glasshouse into a haven of sound, colour, light, science and art on his 3D AV Live tour. Check out these pics from the night while we wait to discover how he’ll transform the space at his next performance here.
