About the artist
Max Cooper is an electronic composer, artist, and founder of the label Mesh. With a PhD in computational biology, he bridges the gap between science and art through music, visual installations, and immersive experiences. Cooper has played many iconic venues. He’s not only the first contemporary electronic musician to perform at the ancient Acropolis theatre in Athens, but also one of the first musicians to produce in Dolby Atmos.
Known for pushing the boundaries of club culture, he held a decade-long residency at Firefly and continues to collaborate with Architecture Social Club on large-scale installations. Cooper’s work explores the emotional and conceptual intersections of sound, space, and science.

Max Cooper Live Masterclass plus Q&A
Ahead of his show here, Max Cooper comes to The Glasshouse to present a live masterclass and Q&A on Saturday 18 April. It will delve into his artistic practice and audio-visual album work, immersive installations and forthcoming album, Feeling Is Structure – an exploration of the relationship between physical form and human emotion, developed from a commission to create a new live show at London’s Royal Albert Hall in April 2026. Find out more and book tickets for it here.
3D AV live
In 2025, Max turned The Glasshouse into a haven of sound, colour, light, science and art on his 3D AV Live tour. Check out these pics from the night while we wait to discover how he’ll transform the space at his next performance here.
