About Martin Stephenson
Martin Stephenson’s one of Britain’s best-loved musicians. As a talented solo artist and with his band The Daintees he’s produced over 40 albums.
His live performances are an exuberant tour-de-force, combining heart-in-your-mouth intimacy with playful humour and warm self-deprecation.
Martin’s been in session with the likes of Tom Robinson and Roddy Hart. He featured on Billy Connolly’s BBC TV documentary Made in Scotland in which he referred to Martin as ‘My kind of musician’. He has played thousands of shows and to-date has performed at Glastonbury three times.
About Franky Gibbon
Franky Gibbon was a much sought after young bass player in his day. A member of Beckett, he toured with Captain Beefheart and Curved Air; Bryan Ferry, Lindisfarne’s Alan Hull, Randy Crawford and John Miles also enjoyed working with this gifted cheeky chappy.
In the 1990s Frank and Ned (Lord) Lambton built Wildtrax, a beautiful 24 track recording studio. Martin recorded three great albums there; the stories are endless!
About Jim Hornsby
Jim Hornsby got his first break in the Burt Brown Show Band. Joining American Echoes set him up on an artistic and driven path with the influence of characters such as John Hutch, Bumper Brown and Keith Scott of Rubber Records. He became a consummate country guitarist; a natural Telecaster player.
Jim joined Prelude for a period and became the go- to session guy at Impulse Studios, working with a range of artists from Mike Harding to Michael Rodd. He is one of the North East’s finest, always playing for the song, working with the voice.
