After a fantastic first session packed with energy, ideas and unforgettable grooves, Knats return for another electrifying masterclass and jam day and this time it’s set to be even bigger.
Join the powerhouse local band making serious waves on the UK jazz scene for a one-of-a-kind experience that blends live performance, hands-on learning and pure creative connection. Whether you’re a curious beginner, developing player, or lifelong jazz lover, this is a rare chance to step inside the music and make it with the band themselves.
The day opens with an up-close live set, showcasing Knats’ bold mix of groove, improvisation and forward-thinking jazz, you’ll explore composition, rhythm and improvisation directly with the musicians. Then it’s time to put it all into practice in a relaxed, open jam – collaborating, experimenting and playing together in a supportive, no-pressure space.
More than a workshop, it’s a celebration of community, creativity and the joy of making music side-by-side.
Open to drummers, percussionists, keys, bass, guitar, woodwind and brass. Bring your instrument and bring your curiosity.
