Performing the best of big band, swing, jump blues, and jazz music from the legendary bands of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Quincy Jones, Benny Goodman, Lionel Hampton, Thad Jones, Harry James and many others.
The Swing Band at The Glasshouse is an ensemble dedicated to bringing the fantastic sounds of the big bands and swing bands to the North East and honouring these amazing musical traditions. Playing primarily in the swing groove and focusing on quintessential repertoire that is the building blocks of modern contemporary music, this ensemble is looking for saxophonists, trombonists, trumpeters, rhythm section players (drums, bass, piano, and guitar).
Ability to read music required.

This class is for adults over 18.

£67 for 10 classes

Fridays, 3pm – 4.30pm

Intermediate/Advanced for confident players looking to challenge themselves – you must be able to read music.
Instruments
Saxophone, trombone, trumpets, drums, bass, piano and guitar, please bring your own.
