Voices of the River’s Edge is a choir for 18–35’s who want to sing their hearts out in professional, high-profile concerts on some of the biggest stages in the country.
We’re looking for people with a love of singing and high aspirations who are willing to get stuck in and commit to key events. It’s free to join, and you don’t need to read music (though it helps).
VOTRE works towards a major annual summer performance as part of the BBC Proms and takes to the stage each December for Home Alone with Royal Northern Sinfonia.
There’ll be a short informal voice check when you sign up – nothing scary

Price: VOTRE is free to join, you will need to book a ticket reserve your spot
Day & Time: Thursdays at 7pm (with additional rehearsals close to performances)
Location: Rehearsals are held both in the building and externally when required
Age: 18 – 35 years old

Rehearsals usually take place Thursdays 7-9pm at The Glasshouse.
Autumn Dates 2025: September: 25; October: 2, 9, 16 & 23; November: 6, 13, 20 & 27; December: 4 & 11
Spring Dates 2026: January 15, 22 & 29; February 5, 12 & 19; March 5, 12, 19 & 26; April 2.
