Aimed at beginners, this course is the perfect way to kickstart your journey as a professional songwriter.

Over this 10-week course you’ll:

• Delve into the fundamental building blocks of songwriting – lyrics, melodies, song structure, rhythm and harmony.
• Explore different genres and develop new techniques to enhance your creative toolbox.
• Experiment with using Digital Audio Workstations (DAW’s) to arrange, layer and add texture to your songs and record demos.
• Receive valuable feedback and learn to build on your ideas.
• Begin to think like a songwriter.

Through a variety of group learning, independent writing, and collaborative opportunities, this course will help you to start turning your inspiration into music you can be proud of.
