Make Music Carnival
Come along to see 3 ensembles from Sage Gateshead’s Make Music Programme perform a mix of high energy pieces from South America, North America, and West Africa all in celebration of carnival season! The groups will be sharing intricate grooves, powerful rhythms, and party vibes at this relaxed afternoon event. Join us to hear the wonderful sounds created by the groups, but also to learn about how various cultures and communities celebrate holidays and traditions across the 3 continents.
