Jane Weaver is making a fresh start. The singer songwriter, who’s a long-standing pillar of the UK’s indie pop landscape, has marked the start of a new era with her latest single ‘Love In Constant Spectacle’. Her first single since her unanimously lauded top 40 album ‘Flock’ and one-off single ‘Oblique Fantasy’.
The track, produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey, Dry Cleaning) is a new awakening. And it’s a statement of intent from Weaver who has big plans for 2024, including more new music and a show at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in spring.

Jane Weaver
Jane Weaver’s experience as a truly independent and resilient songwriter and sound-carrier commands respect and inspiration in equal measure.
Raised on the enthusiasm and inspiration of Factory records founder Rob Gretton and counting Doves and Elbow as her early backing bands, Jane’s desire to cultivate and promote Manchester’s lesser-documented female musicians lead to her long-running Bird records imprint (releasing the earliest recordings of Cate Le Bon, Beth Jeans Houghton and Maxine Peake) housed in the anti-office of Andy Votel’s Twisted Nerve label.
Having recorded several critically acclaimed self-penned solo albums Jane has also written and recorded with a wide range of multi-disciplined artists. Her new album Love in Constant Spectacle comes out on Friday 5 April .
Adwaith
Carmarthen band Adwaith grew up surrounded by a rich tradition of Welsh-language indie-rock, and experimental bands that frequented beloved local venue The Parrot. This cultural backdrop inspired Hollie Singer, Gwenllian Anthony and Heledd Owen to found Adwaith in 2015, wielding Welsh as an exciting musical instrument and taking it worldwide.
Adwaith released their debut single ‘Pwysau’ in 2016 and debut album ‘Melyn’ in 2018 followed by ‘Bato Mato’ (2022). They became the first band to win the prestigious Welsh Music Prize twice over and have had support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, KEXP, NPR and BBC Introducing.
They’ve done three headline tours, played Glastonbury and supported Manic Street Preachers and IDLES.
