Emma Rawicz is a multi-award-winning saxophonist, bandleader and composer. At 21, she made waves internationally with her first release via renowned label ACT. Since then, she’s played on many of Europe’s leading stages and festivals. Think Ronnie Scott’s, Cadogan Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, Transition Festival, Burghausen Jazz Festival and Love Supreme.
The youngest-ever Artist in Residence at Cambridge Jazz Festival, Emma’s received numerous awards and nominations. She was selected as a BBC New Generation Artist from September 2024 for two years.
With over 70 performances across 16 countries in the past year alone, she’s rapidly becoming one of the most sought-after performers on the scene. Her music is distinctive and engaging. Brimming with endlessly melodic writing, infectious grooves and thrilling interplay with her all-star band. There’s a bit of everything from lyrical ballads to fiery odd-time grooves. Sophisticated yet accessible, it’s defined by honesty and joy in every setting.
