ECHO Rising Stars 2024

New. Exciting. You heard them here first.

Who’s on Stage

Three of the best young classical artists around, chosen by the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) as their Rising Stars of 2024, Julia Pusker (violin), Sean Shibe (guitar), Mathis Stier (bassoon), and our very own Rising Star, Artist in Residence Faye MacCalman (saxophone, clarinet, composer).

What they’re playing

Our four Rising Stars are all performing a mix of traditional and contemporary classical music, chosen to showcase their incredible talents. As well as the main recitals, there’ll be mini-concerts on the Concourse throughout the day and a panel discussion with former Rising Star Jess Gillam.
