Deep Forest

Deep Forest formed in Northern France in the early 90s, striving to mix ethnic music with electronic and jazz sounds.
Their debut self-titled album included the hit single ‘Sweet Lullaby’, making them an instant worldwide name and an act that’s gone on to sell over 10 million albums.
Thirty years ago, they received a Grammy nomination for Best Work Music Album category which they won the following year for their later album, ‘Boheme’.
They’ve collaborated with artists including Peter Gabriel, Herbie Hancock Aluna Wade, plus composed for various movies and remixed for the likes of Youssou N’Dour. In 2005 Michel Sanchez left to go solo whilst Eric Mouquet continued to create under the Deep Forest name, releasing albums including ‘Deep Africa’ and ‘Deep India.’
Deep Forest’s live sets are versatile, with a signature sound dipping into both high tempo electronic and jazz for audiences to dance to plus more ambient and relaxing soundscapes. Be sure to catch them here in November.
