Vibrant. Festive. A joyful celebration of Chinese New Year.

The 2026 Year of the Horse Spring Festival Gala is presented by the Newcastle Chinese Student & Scholar Association and held at The Glasshouse. It brings a warm sense of home for Chinese students in the UK and offers local audiences a welcoming introduction to Chinese culture. The evening unfolds in three chapters: Zhu (Dependable, traditional), Xiao (Valiant, modern), and Chi (Gallop, an East–West fusion).
