Jubilant. Inspiring. Brass stars of the future.

Aspire Day will see over 250 local young musicians perform here at The Glasshouse, the culmination of a series of brass playing workshops leading up to this final concert.

The young people taking part in this year’s Brass in Concert Aspire Programme have been selected from local schools and Music Education Hubs within the Northumberland area. Their training and support on a brass instrument has been delivered by the Brass Foundations team, part of Brass Bands England. The workshops programme and final concert form an important part of the Brass in Concert Festival 2023, which aims to celebrate the very best of brass banding and support young people to begin their brass-playing journey.
