Pollyfromthedirt
Darlington-born, London-based artist Pollyfromthedirt, takes his name from his mum, Polly, and his hometown’s affectionate nickname, The Dirt. His story starts close to home: picking up a guitar after his dad flogged his PlayStation following a row. Northern pragmatism and dry humour thread through his work. His songs take aim at British culture while reflecting suburban life with affection, irony, and bite. His debut EP The Dirt Tape P1 filters his distinct Northern Droll, through a warped sprawl of sounds and unorthodox rhythms that hit like jet lag.
Pollyfromthedirt’s music is earning him a cult following and praise from outlets like The Guardian, NME, Notion, Clash, The Line Of Best Fit, Wonderland, Far Out Mag, BBC 6 Music, and more.
Rye
Lithuanian-born, Newcastle-based Rye commands the stage with haunting intimacy, transporting audiences into a dreamlike world that is both beautiful and unsettling.
Electric guitar, subtle synths, and hypnotic yet tense rhythms pulse beneath her voice as it moves with unflinching honesty through this expansive, deeply personal yet familiar world – a place where vulnerability is celebrated but also exposes you to fear; where every song feels like stepping directly inside the artist’s mind.
Rye’s music is shaped by her upbringing in Vilnius, Lithuania, where she was immersed in alternative pop, underground electronic music, and the tradition of sung poetry. Her love of languages is apparent in her work, as she sings in English, Lithuanian, and Spanish, often weaving spoken word into her compositions.
