Support Royal Northern Sinfonia

Play your part in the orchestra’s continued success.

Dramatic Beethoven or Romantic Brahms? World-premieres by today’s new talent? Or introducing the next generation to orchestral music with family favourites like The Snowman and Star Wars? It’s all here for you, thanks to your orchestra Royal Northern Sinfonia.

Led by Principal Conductor Dinis Sousa, the orchestra wows audiences across the North East, and the world. Every year, more than one million people join the orchestra’s concerts – in The Glasshouse at Gateshead Quays, out in communities, on national and international tours, and through livestream and radio broadcast. The players also make little jaws drop in schools, and get stuck in with tutoring the next generation of musicians.

As a charity we’re focused on making sure all of that is available to anyone – no matter where you’re from, how old you are, how much money you have, or what challenges you face.

From signing up as a member, to sponsorship and leaving a gift in your Will – there are so many ways that you can support Royal Northern Sinfonia’s continued success. You’ll make sure the orchestra is here for you, here for everybody in the region, and here for the long term.

“Being a supporter means I can give back a small portion of what I receive in pleasure. It is a small price for the enjoyment and stimulation I receive whenever I step into the building.”

How you help

By supporting Royal Northern Sinfonia, you can make spine-tingling, awe-inspiring, mood-boosting music possible for generations to come. Because as a charity, much of what Royal Northern Sinfonia does, is only possible thanks to donations and gifts in Wills.

Large or small, your gift will make magical musical moments happen.

You’ll give little ones their very first experience of seeing instruments played live. With your help, local young people will learn from exceptional players. And thanks to you, future audiences will get to experience the glorious sound of a live orchestra, and head home with a smile on their face and a spring in their step.

Thank you

A big thank you to all those generous people and businesses who love live music and love the North East.
