Photography and Filming
We love to use our audiences, artists and people we know in our photography and films to help celebrate all the great things happening at The Glasshouse.
From time to time, you might see photographers and filmmakers working in the building. This might be to capture candid moments on the concourse, post-show interviews, all the way up to large-scale film shoots and livestreams.
You’ll see signs up around the building or a note in your pre-show email if you’re coming to a concert. We don’t take close-up photos or film of anyone without checking first. If you have any questions, always feel free to ask a member of staff, or the photographer themselves. We only work with friendly folks.
If you’re worried about being on camera, for whatever reason, let our team know – they’re happy to help.
We use these photos and films for promotional purposes such as marketing or to showcase our work in annual reports or to partners and funders.
If you ever want to withdraw your consent after appearing in a video or photo, please contact us at dataprotection@theglasshouseicm.org or inform a member of our staff or the photographer at the time.
Taking your own photos at concerts
Non-professional photography for personal use is allowed at all performances unless otherwise you’re told otherwise. But always be mindful of other audience members around you during the concert – we’re here to feel it, not just film it. Avoid extended filming, lower your screen brightness and turn off the camera shutter sound on your device.
No flash, tripods, additional sound recording equipment or SLR / DSLR cameras are allowed without prior written consent.
