Step Up Percussion
Step Up Percussion is a brand-new addition for 2026, perfect for young drummers and percussionists who want to take their rhythm skills to the next level.
This programme offers a complete package of learning designed to help young people find their groove and build technical confidence in a lively, creative environment. As part of Step Up Percussion, students will dive into a world of rhythm, from popular beats to jazz grooves, while developing the foundational skills needed to progress into more advanced music-making.
The full Step Up Percussion package includes:
A 60-minute percussion ensemble, Syncopate, where you can unleash your energy, explore global rhythms, and create big, bold sounds as a team.
A 60- or 90-minute class, participating alongside other instrumentalists in either Initi8 or Origin8, focussing on practical learning through popular and jazz styles.
It is the ideal next step for those with a passion for rhythm who want to develop their artistic voice alongside fellow musicians.

School Years: Year 4 – 9
Day & Time: Saturdays, 8.45am-2.30pm (depending on class chosen).
Yearly Fees : £435 (includes Syncopate! and Initi8 or Origin8)

Our Young Musicians Programme is open to all children and young people, whatever their circumstances. We are keen to encourage applicants from the widest possible range of backgrounds and access a bursary where needed.
