Perfect for growing string skills and make music with friends
The Step Up Strings programme helps young people take their violin, viola, cello or double bass playing to exciting new levels.
Young people will deepen their understanding of music and build their technical skills on their chosen instrument through a complete package of learning. They’ll get one-to-one instrumental lessons, fun ‘Music Language’ classes, and the chance to play together in our Step Up Orchestra or Step Up Sinfonia. It’s all about developing as a well-rounded musician while having a great time!
It’s the perfect next step for young people who’ve been part of our Foundation Strings programme. Please note that when we have more applicants than spaces available, we give priority to children completing Foundation Strings.
