Your child’s musical journey starts here!
The Foundation Strings: Pre-Instrumental year is all about having fun while building musical skills through games, songs, and movement activities. It’s the perfect stepping stone into our full Foundation Strings programme!
Children will learn all the musical basics they’ll need before picking up an instrument. And the exciting part? In the summer term, they’ll get hands-on experience with violins, violas, cellos, and basses. This gives them the chance to discover which instrument feels right for them before joining Foundation Strings.
We only have a limited number of places available each year. We’re committed to making music accessible to everyone, so we work hard to include children from all kinds of backgrounds, including those facing challenges. When you apply, please share as much information as you can about your circumstances – it helps us create diverse, inclusive groups.
