Epic. Cosmic. An orchestral adventure into space.
Calling all Musical Astronauts! Are you ready to ride in a rocket, dance among the stars, and walk on the Moon?
Then fasten your seatbelts and join the sensational Royal Northern Sinfonia as they go on a magical musical journey into space, with conductor Ellie Slorach and presenter Jessie Grimes.
It’s your turn to Lift Off while celebrating Neil Armstrong’s first steps onto the Moon! With the help of some incredible music including Aaron Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, Ron Grainer’s Theme from Doctor Who, and Hans Zimmer’s Earth, enjoy our thrilling, interactive orchestral adventure.

Suitable For:
Designed with Key Stage 2 in mind, Lift Off! may also be suitable for Upper KS1 and Lower KS3 groups. We believe everyone should experience the magic of a live orchestra, so if you’re unsure whether it’s right for your students, just get in touch. We’re happy to help!

Submission of this form is not a confirmation of your booking.
Booking requests can come in quickly, and sometimes we can’t update our forms fast enough. We’ll be in touch as soon as we can to let you know if your requested day & time was successful.
If your request is successful:
Booking confirmation:
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking request within 14 days of submitting your form. This will secure your spaces at the concert.
If you do not hear from us in the first 14 days, please get in touch schoolbookings@theglasshouseicm.org to ensure nothing has got lost.
You will then receive a booking order confirmation email from our Box Office team.
Invoicing for the project will aim to take place in March 2027.
Cancellation:
Please inform us in writing at schoolbookings@theglasshouseicm.org as soon as you can if you wish to cancel your booking request.
Cancellation charges:
Cancellation charges will apply from Tuesday 23 March onwards.
0% on or before Monday 22 March, 50% on or before Monday 12 April, 100% thereafter.
Changes to bookings: If you need to amend your booked numbers or detail between now and the booking closing date, Friday 19 March 2027, please get in touch as soon as possible. Once booking has closed, small changes can be made to your booking by emailing school.bookings@theglasshouseicm.org. Significant changes other than cancellation, which may reduce your fee or greatly increase the number of seats you require, will be looked at on a case by case basis.
