Big Sing 2024: Discover

Big Sing schools concert credit Tynesight Photographic Services

Inspiring. Joyful. Discover more than your voice.

The Glasshouse is known for its wonderful architectural design, but what does it take to create something like that in real life? Well… Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths – STEM subjects. Big Sing is going to ‘Discover’ the wonderful world of STEM and add in an ‘A’ for Arts by approaching it through music and song.

Does that make it STEAM? We think it might!

Big Sing: Discover will introduce you to our newly commissioned and hand-picked songs on the Sing Up Song Bank, complete with handy curriculum links. Whether you are starting to introduce song to the classroom or a seasoned choir leader, back at school they’ll have you and your children humming all day long. Learn whole songs or the chorus, together you’ll have fun, improve health, and with any luck, inspire a life-long love of music (no pressure).

Let us be your cheerleader to be confident to sing in the classroom, whatever the topic and to celebrate your hard work, we’ll all bring the songs to life in a memorable live performance in Sage One at The Glasshouse in July.

Are you ready? Full STEAM ahead!
