GemArts is an award-winning arts organisation and a nationally recognised leader in the South Asian and diversity arts sector. We’ve worked together for more than 20 years, most notably on the long-running Riverside Ragas series, bringing world-class Indian classical musicians and South Asian artists in folk, jazz and contemporary genres to our stages.
Through this new partnership, we’ll host six performances a year, including the Masala Festival, and collaborate on exciting new projects such as the Orchestral Qawwali Project – a critically acclaimed blend of Sufi poetry, Indian Classical Dance and orchestral arrangements.
