Maius Mollis
Maius Mollis is a singer-songwriter based in North Shields. Lyrically, she doesn’t shy away from exploring emotional complexities. Brutal self-reflection, reverberating messy dynamics, and relationships that end with no concrete answers drift through her songs.
On her latest release “Feel It Hard” Maius Mollis displays her ability for turning enormous questions of love and guilt into breathtaking, incisive meditations. All this and more is translated via gutting vocal melodies, sculpted atop Maius Mollis’s distinctive finger-picked electric guitar style. With several successful funding including support from Arts Council England, and whispers of an EP in autumn, 2023 promises to be Maius Mollis’ busiest year yet.
Having been selected for Sages Gateshead’s prestigious Summer Studios residency, and a new band forming behind the scenes, Mollis is working towards crafting her live sound for shows to come in 2023.
