Singer-songwriter and guitarist Kindelan writes and performs jazz-infused alternative soul with an indelible authenticity, and since autumn 2022, has been “establishing herself as an enchanting, head-turning force” with a growing list of highly-regarded single releases and an electric sold-out home show at Leeds’ Hyde Park Book Club.

Kindelan’s ability to tell authentic, intricately woven stories is unmatched, and her mesmerising live stage presence has been showcased at ‘We Out Here’ Festival, and supporting the likes of artists B- ahwe and The Howl & The Hum. With a focus on rich vocal arrangements, layered organic instrumentation, and poetic lyricism, Kindelan’s guitar-driven compositions have a sound often likened to that of Lianne La Havas, and Hiatus Kaiyote’s Nai Palm.

Penultimate single release, ‘Feast’, received support from BBC Radio One’s introducing show, being crowned Gemma Bradley’s “perfect chill out song”. Her previous singles have also seen industry-wide support from DMY, Atwood Magazine’s editor-in-chief Mitch Mosk, who describes Kindelan’s music as “an utterly mesmerising experience”, as well as Emily Pilbeam on BBC Introducing West Yorkshire, and Jericho Keys on BBC Introducing York, describing her music as “simply Stunning”.

After a couple years of crafting a defining body of work, Kindelan is finally set to release her highly anticipated debut EP, titled ‘you can reach me if you try’, in Spring 2023. ‘The Other Side’, ’Hazel Frustration’, and ‘Feast’ are three pieces within a 7-track offering of hand-crafted songs telling the stories of life’s in-between moments. The intimately co-produced project also involves friend and collaborator Ed Allen, who on production/mixing duties, helped bring the stunning seven-track EP to life. The project is not one to miss from a rising star in the underground UK scene.
