Genre-bending soloist hailing from Hurworth-on-Tees, now based in Newcastle. Nicholson’s offering is a brooding sad-pop with delicate textures, weaving between mellow indie, folk-pop and electro soundscapes. Taking inspiration from prog rock and artists that change sonically with each album, her writing is free-form and intuitive, with her sincere, reed-like vocals remaining a compelling constant.
