“I have been writing poetry which can be sung – it’s a great way to get your emotions out. I’ve read lots of music biographies too. The Hendrix book by Phillip Norman was brilliant. The memoirs of Bill Kreutzmann gives a fabulous insight of the Grateful Dead. Herbie Hancock has many tales to tell. The Sandy Denny biography is a harrowing read of a sadly missed talent. Just like 2020 – as Sandy sang – who knows where the time goes?” – Andrew Ward

“For me there is no substitute for live music and theatre. The experience of watching and listening to artists performing is uplifting and exhilarating. The atmosphere of a full house adds to the enjoyment and nowhere better than Sage Gateshead with a full house for our wonderful Royal Northern Sinfonia and visiting orchestras. Looking forward to having this wonderful experience again soon.” – Ray Sams

“My way to fill the gap is to remember the times I did go to concerts and how those made me feel, and I remember I’ll be able to go sometime again. I fill it by listening to new music and finding new artists that inspire me in one way or the other. And with this inspiration I plan new adventures and create new ideas of what I can do with the time and access I have now. Of course, I miss listening to live music, as it’s special and one of a kind, though I enjoy the time I have now and the way I feel now.” – Gabby
