Who’s on stage
RNS Moves, our inclusive ensemble made up of disabled musicians and non-disabled members of Royal Northern Sinfonia. They effortlessly blend classical, folk and electronic instruments and inspirations for a truly unique sound.
What they’re playing
An ode to the Earth in all it’s glory. Enjoy an hour of bold, vivid music in four themes – ‘In the beginning’, ‘Birds’, ‘On Earth’ and ‘Planets’. Classical chart toppers like Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight’ Sonata and Vaughan Williams’ Lark Ascending, 20th century innovations by John Cage and Philip Glass, and traditional songs come together in a unique celebration of life on our planet.
