Newcastle Bach Choir- Elgar: The Kingdom
For many Elgar fans including the famous conductor Sir Adrian Boult, The Kingdom is his greatest choral work, more consistent than even The Dream of Gerontius. This is a rare opportunity to hear Elgar’s masterpiece live in the North East with two fine choirs, the Newcastle Bach Choir and the guest Waynflete Singers, with a stellar line-up of soloists including local-born Claire Rutter and Kitty Whately.
