THIS EVENT HAS PASSED

We are having our first north east music industry meet up (NEMIMU) Christmas Party in collaboration with Generator and we’d love you to join us! Expect festive music, performances from local artists and informal networking.

NEMIMU (North East Music Industry Meet Up) is a space for those working in and around our region’s music industry to come together. Our Christmas party is the first in-person NEMIMU event and is taking place on Friday 2nd December at Summerhill Bowling Club from 6pm.

After the past couple of years, we wanted to offer an opportunity for people to come together, have a festive drink and hopefully a really fun evening! Entertainment will be provided with live local music followed by a DJ.

Our aim is to bring together the people behind the ‘scene’ who have continued to sustain and support our music community. We want to celebrate the incredible resilience shown by our local music industry and are hoping to make this a yearly tradition.

Join us for live sets from Frankie Jobling and Aimee Lambert, as well as DJ sets from Alannah Lamb to get us in the party mood! – we hope to see you all there! ❄️ ?

Due to limited capacity, it will cost £3 to reserve a ticket however this will include a festive drink of your choice on arrival!*

Frankie Jobling

with a live set from Frankie Jobling

Frankie Jobling is Neo-soul singer and songwriter from Newcastle. After studying music in Manchester, she returned to her native North East and continued honing her sound and unique voice. Influenced by old school soul and jazz titans such as Aretha Franklin and Billie Holiday, Frankie’s sultry R’n’B vibes stay true to those roots whilst bringing them into a more contemporary world.
