Whether you’re a budding musician, a jazz enthusiast, or just love to groove, this is your chance to connect with one of the most exciting new acts on the scene and dive into their unique sound from the inside out.
This is more than a workshop — it’s a celebration of local talent, creative connection, and the future of jazz. Let’s jam! This unique experience is open to drummers, percussionists, keys, bass, guitar, woodwind, and brass players.

Meet the band and get the lowdown on what to expect. We’re kicking things off with good vibes and great company.
Live Performance
Experience the magic live, as Knats bring their signature sound — a bold blend of jazz, groove, and experimental energy — to the stage. Expect tight rhythms, creative improv, and a whole lot of feel.
Breakout Sessions – Get Involved
Time to roll up your sleeves and dig into the music with three hands-on sessions:
• Composition with Stan – Discover how to shape ideas into full tracks, Knats-style.
• Rhythm with King – Explore the heartbeat of the music and develop tight, expressive timing.
• Improvisation with Ferg – Unlock your spontaneity and learn how to speak through your instrument.
Open Jam Session
We’ll wrap things up with a relaxed jam, giving everyone the chance to jump in, collaborate, and play alongside fellow musicians. No pressure, just pure musical flow.
Bring your gear
Lead Instruments: Please bring your own instruments.
Guitar and Keyboards: Amps and keyboards are available upon request—let us know in advance if you’ll need one.
For Drummers and Percussionists: Drum kit slots are limited. To ensure everyone gets a chance to play, kit players will rotate. A variety of percussion instruments will be available so all players can participate in the jam.
