Enjoy a special screening of seasonal comedy classic Home Alone with John William’s charming musical score performed live by Royal Northern Sinfonia and the Chorus of Royal Northern Sinfonia, led by conductor Antony Gabriele.

Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McCallister, an 8-year-old boy who’s accidentally left behind when his family leaves for Christmas vacation and must defend his home against two bungling thieves.  Nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Original Score and Best Original Song (“Somewhere in My Memory”), Home Alone is hilarious, heart-warming holiday fun for the entire family!

Anthony Gabriele

Conductor Anthony has established an international reputation for conducting with tremendous passion born of a profound knowledge and understanding of the repertoire. Anthony’s varied career has taken him around the world working with artists such as percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie; tenors Fabio Armiliato and Noah Stewart; accordionist Ksenija Sidorova; Irish singer/songwriter Ronan Keating; and violinist Daniel Hope.

Anthony has established himself as one of the finest conductors of ‘Film with Orchestra’ concerts, with performances of The Wizard of OzSingin’ in the Rain and Raiders of the Lost Ark among many others. As a Music Director on London’s West End, and internationally, Anthony’s career in musical theatre includes musicals such as The Lion King, CATSThe Phantom of the Opera, GreaseThe Wizard of OzFunny GirlJesus Christ SuperstarThe Sound of Music and Evita.
