We’re teaming up with our friends at Huddersfield Choral Society to bring Haydn’s Creation to life – a work deeply woven into their story. Inspired by Handel and composed late in Haydn’s career, it marked a bold, brilliant new chapter in classical music.
What they’re playing
First premiered in 1798 to great fanfare, Creation quickly became a favourite across Europe and beyond, with audiences still moved by its powerful moments today.
