Fisherman’s Friends
Celebrating 30 Years on The Road
Rousing. Uniting. Cornish sea shanties ahoy!
Fisherman’s Friends announce their 2025-2026 UK tour, celebrating over 30 years of performing together across the world. Following a sell-out tour—including a night at the Royal Albert Hall and one at The Glasshouse—the group looks forward to sharing old favourites and new tunes with their ever-growing audience.
With over 100,000 Facebook followers, two successful feature films grossing over $15 million at the UK box office, multiple top-ten albums, a musical inspired by their story, and a BBC Folk Award, the band has achieved remarkable success. They’ve performed everywhere from the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee to the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage and even on Strictly Come Dancing.
In 2023, they released their fifth album, All Aboard, under Island Records, marking 15 years with the label. Their track ‘Brave Volunteers’ featuring Seth Lakeman was playlisted on Radio 2. Despite their fame, the group remains true to their roots, juggling day jobs from fishing and building to shopkeeping and filmmaking staying the close-knit friends they were when they first sang sea shanties together.
